Alpha’s Sacrifice (Irresistible Omegas #1) by Nora Phoenix Book Review

Alpha’s Sacrifice (Irresistible Omegas #1) by Nora Phoenix Book Review

Hello, Bookworms,

I come with a different book. Before we start I would like to say that it is a gay harem book.

we are in this world where wolf shifters cannot shift anymore, but you have Alphas, betas an omegas were you were born that way and you couldn’t change that.  Omega’s are the only ones that can get pregnant and only by alpha’s if I remember correctly. In this book, even males can get pregnant.

Omegas get into “heat” where they are irresistible by alphas and that can lead to rapes and all sort of things. Also, omegas can only gain their sanity in the “heat” by alphas.

Isn’t this set up a bit weird? I mean the gay thing is actually great but the storyline is a bit of a what just happened here?

Saying that though I loved the book in all it’s ridiculousness. I think this is why it’s working as a book because it’s so out there that if you dialed it back down it wouldn’t work.

This book is new adult so there is sex involved but not the main focus of the book. There is a lot of world building and character building as well. I actually enjoyed the book even if I was wondering why is this a thing, but hey who am I to judge if it works it works.

It was a quick read and enjoyable after I got used the scenario.

Do I recommend?

Yes? if you want to dive onto the men on men action is pretty great.

The Wild Interview (The Wild Boys Book 1) by K.A Knight, Erin O’Kane Book Review

The Wild Interview (The Wild Boys Book 1) by K.A Knight, Erin O’Kane Book Review

Hello, Bookworms,

Here I am with another romance/ reverse harem review.

We start with this book with our main FMC where she goes for an interview but mistakes the rooms and has an interview to be a manager for a “dance” crew rather than music. She manages to get the job and when she meets her team she realizes the mistake she made. I love though she is sticking with it and proving everyone wrong that she is indeed the right person for this job.

This is a magic mike scenario only with a manager.

There are things that happen and she ends up living with them because she has nowhere to go.

I love that she goes to their house and they completely utterly respect her and treat her like a princess. Their friendship starts to go really well and they get closer. Obviously, there is insane chemistry but no one acts on it for a while. I loved that part, we got to see the bonding first which was fantastic. This book is a medium burn where you get all the good part of the romance novel. Also, I believe it is a series. I mean the first book finished on an open ending which for some like me it’s enough not to read another book. I mean if I come across the second book for sure I will read it. But I can go without as well.

This book is worth a read for those who love contemporary romance with reverse harem thrown into the mix.

One Girl Five Hungry Beasts by Hollie Hutchins Book Review

One Girl Five Hungry Beasts by Hollie Hutchins Book Review

Hello, Bookworms,

I have 19 posts started with reviews. like oh my goodness why I have fallen so behind in this so much?

too much work-life happening and not enough time writing. For the past 3 months, I have been obsessing about reverse harem and have dived into the universe and has given me so much …

Anyway, this book has been circling my view of recommendation by people and Amazon itself. Since I have invested in Kindle unlimited I have been reading so much more. So this book was in KU and I said to myself why not?

First I have to say that the covering is a bit too much. I thought the book was gonna be too much. was it? Nope, it was actually pretty sweet.

So, we are in this world where the wolf shifters have taken hold of earth and won a war between humans. For peacemaking, each village will give their first daughter when of age to them and in return, they get food and supplies.

So we follow this girl where she thinks she gonna be eaten alive by them, but little does she know that she is sent to the city to pick her men. So we follow the journey of her and her men living in the same house and her actually being treated like human rather than a piece of meat like her family treated her. They send her to university to learn and immerse herself in society.  I loved the book was sweet and the romance felt natural and the characters went well all together. It had plenty of romance, action, and smut. I would recommend for an easy going afternoon, or day or night whatever floats your goat! (Ps. I know it’s boat)
