Great Love or Comfort

Great Love or Comfort

We all are lead to believe that love really exists and it does, but it’s not as great as you think.

We are lead to believe that love is everywhere you can experience it in your life by the one you choose to be with. The people we choose to be with; do we really love them? or is it just comfort that keeps us safe from feeling the real thing?

That is a big question, that I will answer a bit later. Now my goal is to take you in a journey how I came up with the idea that love doesn’t really exists or it’s so rare that can be found only in great books.

When I was thirteen I decided that love really didn’t exist because:
1. My mum couldn’t find happiness( she probably did and has, but not really the love of her life)
2. I liked too many boys
3. I couldn’t understand what is love.

I will fast forward three years.

So at my sixteen I decide to read some classical novels, and one of them was “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte. I tell you, that book changed my perception on what love is. I made my grandpa buy the book for me. He asked me, “why you want this book?” , it was fairly simple, I never experienced love such as this. I know it was just a great book and not reality, but I wished right then and there that I want to experience such a great love. SO unbearable that you can’t stay together but can’t be apart.

I said then this is not just love but great love. How rare is to find a great love?

The years passed and read more books about love, had my fun, felt love and moved on.

Sadly we are all meant to feel love and our whole world to shutter under out feet when we do feel it. But we also meant to stand up and move on. I personally learned that it’s easier every time to move on because after a while there are not many pieces to put back into your heart.

Is it because we stop believing? or we just stopped feeling pain?

Or just people started to choose comfort over great love?

Comfort is not bad thing, you know it’s going to be there forever if not forever for a long time. With great love tho you never know when is going to end because it’s so powerful and explosive. People spend their lives on seeking that great love and when they do, get shuttered and bitter or not.

Do we really need great love?

I would say yes we do and although it’s rare to find it exists, in books, songs, and in our hearts. Also, I discovered that great love can be in any relationship. The real question is do people believe in great love? or choose to put it aside for comfort.

How to waste an hour of your life

How to waste an hour of your life

This is how it started, I woke up and decided that I wanted to go for shopping. When I mean shopping, its usually bathroom stuff or house stuff not a big fun on buying cloths, too many.

So I went to my lovely car, and travelled the distance of 10 minutes to get to the store.

I have to say I get really anxious when shopping, so I tend to do it fast or I wonder around like I have never seen civilization in my life. In other words I might go to the same section 5 times till I find what I want.

The other shopping technique that i have is go scan the whole shop 3 times, find what I want, wonder around like a crazy person and then buy it. It works, but hey I seem like a crazy person in both circumstances.

Anyway, this post is not how I waste my time on shopping, because that method it takes me more than an hour.

It’s how I came to the decision that I needed a shoe self thing for my shoes. So I said lucky me, it’s on SPECIAL $15 only. I wish I knew back then that 15 dollars going to scar me for life.

To cut the long story short, I went home and relaxed. I decided that it will be a good idea to put this together the next day, NOT.

My luck has not been together for that matter, It took me an hour of hurting myself and selves flying to my head till I decided that I am a retard and I cannot put something together that simple.

Complained to my boyfriend about it, and he was like its ok baby, bring to my place I will do it for you, you are not a retard( but secretly saying, “what a retard” I will do it like in 5minutes)

It turns out the selves was a cm bigger as I suspected. In the end he asked for my help to put this together and I refused, let him suffer as I did.I felt bad in the end, so I helped him held everything together and bend the selves so I can have a shoe rack.

It was quite entertaining and a big mission. For once he admitted that i was wright and now I have nice bent leaning shoe rack, modern and arty. Always see the bright side, cannot say that I loved the moment but it was certainly funny to see someone else be in the same situation as me.

So this is how to waste an hour of your life, Just go and buy 15$ faulty shoe rack and join the game.

Mustard in the pie

Mustard in the pie

This is an instructional piece of using the mustard in almost everything.
I know people love Ketchap, but honestly mustard is way more healthier for you than ketchap.

Mustard has been used not only for medical purposes such as general muscular pain and toothache, but in food to.

When I cook I try to use mustard in my recipies. Yes, it makes a difference. It gives a special punch to the food.

Honestly it makes your life easier.

So getting to my point use mustard in anything, mince, pies, sandwiches, salads and so on. Be creative, but never over do it.

My way favourite way of using mustard is inside a veganvegetarian mice pie. Bizarre, but I tell you, since I became a vegetarian I turned my favourite foods to vegetarian food, hence the “mince”.

So people out there that love pies and love vegetarianvegan can try this recipie.

Ingredients

1tsp vegemite
1tsp soy sauce
1tbsp mustard
1tsp rosemary
1tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic chopped up
1 onion
1 capsicum
4 portobello mushrooms
1 packet quorn mince (vegetarianvegan)
cheese optional
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 can tomatoes
2 cups of veggie stock

Directions

1. Heat the oil, but honestly if you don’t have coconut oil use olive oil or whatever oil you have. Put the garlic and the onion into the pan till golden.
2. Put the rest of the veggies, till almost soft and the then put the mince.
3. Quickly add all the herbs, and vegemite, soy and mustard. Stir for a couple minutes.
4. Put the veggie stock to the pan and stir for another couple minutes and then put the can of tomatoes.
5. reduce all liquid (it takes time, depends how high or low you have the heat. Remember to stir regularly)

6. By the time everything is ready you will be starving ( FUN FACT). So I recommend that you don’t waste time and cut the pastry place the mince inside and cook for 45minutes to 180c, fan bake.

7. If you really dying and you need to eat pronto, either put it in a piece of toast or boil some pasta.

Remember mustard will make your life more beautiful. Use it with care. I don’t, I buy it every week.

Luxury Items

So this person it’s quite close to me, but I will not say who it is. Because the stuff I going to send him its pretty embarrassing.

1. Toiler Paper
2. A toilet
3. A cell phone
4. An IPOD
5. A Torch

I know it’s pretty stupid, the items I will send this person, but I couldn’t imagine him without those items, and because I know that he will survive anywhere he went. So its not so about survival, but comfort.
